Trader Joe’s has officially arrived in West Palm Beach.
The long-awaited grocery store opened Friday morning at Palm Coast Plaza on South Dixie Highway, near the U.S. 1 bridge and the Lake Worth Beach city line.
The 9,400-square-foot store is the first Trader Joe’s location in West Palm Beach, the fifth in Palm Beach County, and the company’s 28th store in Florida.
Known for its cult-favorite products, private-label offerings, and laid-back vibe, Trader Joe’s stocks everything from everyday essentials to hard-to-find specialty items — all vetted by the company’s tasting panel.
The new store serves as the anchor tenant of the mixed-use Palm Coast Plaza development, which also includes additional retail space and the eight-story Sound Apartments with 358 rental units.
Nearby Trader Joe’s locations in Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, Boca Raton, and Delray Beach have built devoted followings, and now West Palm Beach residents have a location of their own.
The store is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
