CityPlace to Host Community Block Party in West Palm Beach

CityPlace is taking the party to the street this September.

The downtown West Palm Beach destination will host its inaugural CityPlace Community Block Party on Thursday, September 17, from 4 to 8 p.m., transforming Rosemary Avenue between Fern and Hibiscus streets into an open-air celebration of food, shopping, art and community.

The free event brings together CityPlace restaurants and retailers alongside local organizations, with live performances from students at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, beginning at 4 p.m., plus face painting and family-friendly activities throughout the district.

The lineup reads like a stroll through the new CityPlace. Anthropologie will host a pop-up with LOGAN TAY, Evereve will offer personalized denim styling, and Rivian will showcase its electric vehicles. Food and drink will be plentiful, too, with a Fuku and Aioli collaboration, sweets from The Salty Donut and BuddhaBerry, smoothie shots from Pura Vida and specialty cocktails from Moxies.

Guests can also stop for personalized portraits at Birkenstock, visit the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and browse the CityPlace floral cart.

But the afternoon comes with a charitable twist. Participating businesses will donate 10% of event-day proceeds to Dreyfoos School of the Arts, supporting student programs, classroom resources and arts initiatives. Nearby Harry’s and Adrienne’s will also participate in the giveback.

The block party arrives amid another growth spurt for CityPlace, with Fuku, Birkenstock, Evereve, The RealReal, BuddhaBerry, MOSCOT, Little Ruby’s and Rivian among its recent and upcoming additions.

For a district built around the idea of gathering, the September celebration offers something refreshingly simple: an excuse to wander Rosemary Avenue, discover what’s new and spend an early fall evening downtown.
