Palm Beach Pete Announces 2028 Mayoral Campaign With Botox, Convertibles and Pickleball Expansion

Palm Beach politics just got even more surreal.

Palm Beach Pete — known around town for leaning into his resemblance to Jeffrey Epstein as part of his over-the-top social media character — has officially announced his candidacy for Mayor of Palm Beach in 2028.

Palm Beach Pete’s campaign platform reads more like a luxury resort fantasy package than a traditional political agenda.

Among his headline promises: free Botox for every Palm Beach resident.

His platform also calls for complimentary convertible use for all residents for one year so they can “experience the top down in the Palm Beach breeze.”

Not stopping there, Pete is proposing a major expansion of pickleball and padel courts across Palm Beach, while also promising free tennis lessons for all residents.

And in perhaps the most Palm Beach proposal imaginable, Pete says he wants to import New York City water directly into Palm Beach to improve the quality of local pizza and bagels.

“Everyone knows the secret to good pizzas and bagels in NYC is the water,” Pete states in his campaign platform, which includes plans for a pipeline carrying New York water to South Florida.

Whether voters are ready for Botox subsidies and taxpayer-supported convertibles remains to be seen, but one thing is already clear: Palm Beach’s 2028 mayoral race may become the most entertaining campaign Florida has seen in years.
