Tenka Sushi – Modern Asian is targeting a December opening at 12465 Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, bringing an ambitious, globally influenced menu to a contemporary 4,000-square-foot space.
The restaurant is the creation of Bill, David and Jim, three longtime hospitality professionals with more than 25 years of combined restaurant experience. After relocating from New York City to Florida in 2020, the friends spent five years developing a concept inspired by the cuisines of Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.

At the center of Tenka will be a dramatic 270-degree open kitchen, offering guests a close-up view of the chefs at work. Plans also include a 14-seat sushi bar, a 12-seat full bar and an outdoor patio accommodating as many as 50 guests.
The menu will blend Japanese kappo traditions with the vibrant street flavors of Southeast Asia. Premium seafood, including fish flown directly from Japan, will anchor the restaurant’s sushi offerings.
The founders cite celebrated restaurants such as Nobu, Morimoto, Zuma and Kyubi among their influences. Their goal is to create a polished yet inviting dining experience where traditional techniques meet a distinctly modern point of view.
