A major Asian supermarket is headed to West Palm Beach — and it’s bringing enough kimchi, dumplings and live seafood to fill 42,000 square feet.
Kimchi Mart, one of South Florida’s largest Asian grocery destinations, announced plans to open a massive new location in West Palm Beach in late November or early December 2026, giving Palm Beach County shoppers a one-stop destination for authentic foods and hard-to-find ingredients from across Asia.
The sprawling market will stock products from Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries, along with fresh produce, household goods, drinks, snacks and ready-to-eat meals.
Far more than a corner mini-mart, Kimchi Mart has built a loyal following thanks to its huge selection and bargain prices. The stores are open seven days a week, 365 days a year, and feature wide aisles packed with everything from ramen and Pocky sticks to sushi-grade tuna and nearly two dozen varieties of frozen dumplings.
Fresh produce is another major draw, with shoppers finding bean sprouts, baby bok choy, daikon radishes, Korean pears and shishito peppers alongside organic vegetables.
Seafood lovers can browse tanks filled with live fish, including flounder imported from South Korea, while fans of Korean cuisine can pick up house-made kimchi and prepared dishes like japchae, the savory glass noodle dish popular throughout Korea.
The market also caters to the booming K-beauty trend, offering skincare products imported directly from South Korea.
Kimchi Mart says the West Palm Beach store will be more than just a grocery store.
“This is more than a grocery store — it’s a destination for food lovers, families, and anyone who loves discovering flavors from across Asia,” the company said.
The opening is expected to feature grand opening specials, giveaways and exclusive events.
