President Donald Trump appears headed back to Palm Beach for a fourth consecutive weekend, returning to Mar-a-Lago just days after a bruising Election Day that saw Republicans lose control of both the House and Senate.
But Florida offered the president a silver lining.
Republicans Byron Donalds and Ashley Moody delivered victories in the Sunshine State, providing a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing election for the GOP.
Now, Trump appears ready to trade Washington for the Winter White House once again.
FOURTH STRAIGHT WEEKEND
The Federal Aviation Administration has issued temporary flight restrictions beginning Friday, November 6, at 7:45 p.m. EST, and continuing through Sunday, November 8, at 7:30 p.m. EST.
If confirmed, the trip would mark Trump’s fourth consecutive weekend at Mar-a-Lago, his fourth visit of the fall season and his 31st since beginning his second term in January 2025.
FIRST STOP: CAPE CANAVERAL?
Trump’s weekend in Florida may begin on the Space Coast.
Separate FAA flight restrictions indicate the president could travel to Cape Canaveral on Friday, November 6, before heading south to Palm Beach.
The potential visit comes as Kennedy Space Center prepares for NASA’s Max Power celebration November 6–8, part of festivities marking America’s 250th anniversary.
The FAA restrictions suggest presidential travel to the area, although Trump’s exact itinerary has not been publicly confirmed.
PALM BEACH ROAD CLOSURES
South Ocean Boulevard (A1A) will close between South County Road and Southern Boulevard beginning Friday, November 6, at 5 a.m.
The closure will remain in effect until further notice.
Residents and visitors should expect security checkpoints, traffic delays and possible adjustments to bridge openings. Temporary marine security zones may also affect boaters.
While the White House has not officially confirmed Trump’s Palm Beach arrival, the FAA restrictions and local security preparations point toward another presidential weekend at Mar-a-Lago.
