Boca Raton Tequila Festival Returns November 7

BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Tequila Festival returns to Mizner Park Amphitheater on Saturday, November 7, celebrating its fifth anniversary with its most ambitious edition yet: a fully all-inclusive afternoon of South Florida food, premium spirits and live entertainment.

For the first time, admission includes unlimited chef tastings from more than 20 restaurants, transforming the annual gathering into as much a culinary festival as an ode to agave. Guests can also explore pours from more than 30 premium tequila, mezcal and craft-spirit brands, along with local beer and an expanded selection of nonalcoholic, hemp and energy beverages.

The new Chef Showcase & Best Dish Competition will feature El Jefe Luchador, Geronimo, Even Keel Fish Shack, Bartaco, Benihana, Talkin’ Tacos, Elev8ted Chefs, The Kester, American Social and El Segundo, with additional restaurants still to come.

Eduardo Lara, better known as @TheWolfofTacos, returns as chief taco officer and head of the judging panel. Participating chefs will compete for Best Dish, Best Taco and Best Spicy Dish, while festivalgoers select a People’s Choice winner.

“For our fifth anniversary, making the food experience all-inclusive was the obvious next step,” founder Joe Durkin said. “We wanted guests to experience the incredible talent of South Florida’s culinary community alongside world-class spirits, live entertainment and immersive experiences.”

VIP tickets include entry one hour before the general crowd, access to the Curds & Corks VIP Lounge, a private second-floor viewing area and a commemorative swag bag.

The festival supports True Hospitality Community, a nonprofit serving hospitality professionals across South Florida.
