West Palm Beach is turning its iconic waterfront into the backdrop for one of South Florida’s most dazzling Independence Day celebrations as One Epic Fourth on Flagler returns on July 4 with its most ambitious lineup yet—timed to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary.
From 5 to 10 p.m., Flagler Drive, stretching from Banyan Boulevard to Fern Street, transforms into an open-air festival where palm-lined promenades meet live music, waterfront dining, family-friendly attractions, and uninterrupted views across the Intracoastal Waterway.
The evening culminates in a new choreographed laser show synchronized with an 18-minute fireworks display, illuminating the skyline in a spectacle designed to rival the destination itself.
Festivities begin with a patriotic tribute honoring past and present members of the U.S. military, followed by the national anthem. Vintage vocal trio The Swing Dolls sets the mood with beloved 1940s classics before the celebration shifts into full swing.
At the main stage near North Clematis Street, headliner Gotta Groove delivers an energetic soundtrack spanning R&B favorites from the 1960s through today.
Families will find plenty to explore at the Meyer Amphitheater, where DJ Reflex hosts an interactive kids’ zone featuring bounce houses, games, and complimentary Independence Day crafts. Just south, Post Park embraces a country fair atmosphere with DJ Kid Karter, line dancing, and mechanical bull rides.
For those looking to start the evening on the move, the sixth annual BillBone 5K steps off at 7 p.m. near Post Park, with proceeds benefiting the Wounded Veteran Relief Fund.
Drawing more than 75,000 visitors each year, One Epic Fourth on Flagler has become one of South Florida’s signature summer traditions. This year’s expanded entertainment and waterfront finale promise an unforgettable celebration beneath the palms as West Palm Beach marks 250 years of American independence.
