Christian Winthrop

Christian Winthrop is a media publisher and journalist and the founder and editor of Palm Beach Buzz, a digital news platform covering Palm Beach County and South Florida, launched in 2025. He is also the founder and editor of Newport Buzz, one of Rhode Island’s leading digital news platforms. Before launching Newport Buzz in 2011, Winthrop worked in national politics and later as an entertainment producer in New York City. A fifth-generation Newporter, he now splits his time between Newport and Palm Beach, covering the people, places, culture, and stories shaping both communities.
